Sono stati consegnati a Los Angeles i Critics’ Choice Awards di quest’anno, e come prevedibile a trionfare nella serata è stata la sit-com più seguita d’America The Big Bang Theory. Vi ricordiamo che i Critics’ Choice Awards sono il premio assegnato dai giornalisti della Broadcast Television Journalists Association.
Lo show prodotto dalla CBS ha trinfato in tre categorie: Miglior Comedy, Miglior Attore non protagonista in una comedy e Miglior attrice non protagonista in una comedy, premi andati rispettivamente a Simon Helberg e Kaley Cuoco. Fra i titoli che hanno trionfato nelle altre categorie ci sono l’horror drama American Horror Story che si è aggiudicata le categorie Miglior attore e attrice non protagonista in un film TV o miniserie.
Trionfo anche per Il Trono di Spade e Breaking Bad che 
si sono aggiudicate il premio per miglior serie drammatica ex aequo. Da segnalare anche i premi vinti dal film tv di HBO Behind the Candelabra, che ha vinto il premio come miglior attore, andato a Michael Douglas.
