Lady Gaga torna con il nuovo attesissimo video di The Edge Of Glory. Dopo i singoli Born this way e Judas ecco arrivare il clip del terzo brano estratto dall’album Born this way. In realtà The Edge Of Glory era stato rilasciato come singolo già qualche settimana fa, precisamente il 9 maggio, ma solo da qualche giorno è disponibile sui circuiti musicali online (in primis sul canale VEVO di Lady Gaga).
The Edge Of Glory vede la regia di Joseph Kahn, certamente un professionista di elevato livello. Per chi non lo conoscesse Kahn è un artista che ha diretto video per nomi illustri della musica: dai Muse agli U2, dai The Chemical Brothers a Moby, George Michael e Korn, passando per Kelly Clarkson, Blink 182, Eminem, Mariah Carey, Black Eyed Peas ed altri ancora. Un grande regista insomma, premiato più volte per la sue opere. C’è quindi da aspettarsi un nuovo premio conoscendo l’irriverenza di Lady Gaga? Difficile dirlo. Certo è che se avrà lo stesso successo di Born this way e Judas c’è da aspettarsi sicuramente qualche premio. Lo scorso 19 giugno, 
infatti, in occasione dei MuchMusic Video Awards di Toronto, Lady Gaga, candidata per tre Awards, è stata premiata con il Fave International Artist (video preferito dal pubblico) per Born This Way e con l’International Video (miglior video internazionale dell’anno) per il brano Judas. Una premiazione che ha visto Miss Germanotta dedicare i due premi al nonno e a Clarence Clemons (storico sassofonista venuto a mancare qualche giorno fa).
Insomma sembra veramente un momento d’oro per la carriera di Lady Gaga, che continua ad incamerare un trofeo dopo l’altro. In più, dopo “l’apparizione” all’Europride di Roma (12 giugno 2011 al Circo Massimo), la cantante statunitense ha visto schizzare alle stelle l’entusiasmo dei suoi fan, sia italiani che internazionali. Numerosi, infatti, sono stati i siti presi d’assalto per commentare l’evento e la performance al pianoforte della cantante (che trovate di seguito al video di The Edge Of Glory).
